Joey grew up in Marin County. He started out in this industry as a waiter, and eventually owned his own drinking establishment.

Joey was instrumental in the development of BU. He has worked with us in just about every capacity, including warehouse assistant, bartback, bartender, event manager and staffing manager. We are extremely fortunate to have had Joey as a mainstay of our team since 1985. His longevity with us is quite rare in this rather transient industry. Joey has scaled back quite a bit, however you are likely to experience his cordial style of mixology at our more involved events.
